Connectors

Growpost connects to the tools you already write in. Your brand voice, your saved scripts and your content calendar become things an assistant can read — so it drafts in your voice instead of a generic one, and you stop pasting the same context into every conversation.

Get a key

Every connector authenticates with an API key. Create one under Settings → Connections. The key is shown once, so copy it then. Grant only the permissions a connector needs — a key that can read your voice does not need to be able to change your calendar.

Claude

In Claude Desktop, open Settings → Developer → Edit Config and add Growpost to claude_desktop_config.json:

Restart Claude. In Claude Code, one command does the same thing:

ChatGPT

With Developer Mode enabled, add https://mcp.growpost.space/mcp as an MCP server and sign in when prompted. You will be asked to approve the exact permissions the connector wants, and you can revoke it from Settings → Connections at any time.

Cursor, Windsurf and Gemini CLI

All three read the same MCP configuration. Add the block below to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, your Windsurf MCP settings, or ~/.gemini/settings.json:

What the assistant can do

Once connected, it can:

• read your brand voice, niche and sample posts before drafting anything;
• search your saved scripts, and read one in full;
• see what is already scheduled, and when;
• save a draft you liked, and put a post on a date;
• capture an idea you want to keep for later.

It cannot generate content through Growpost, and it cannot publish anything. The assistant does the writing; Growpost stores it; you still press post. Nothing here connects to a social account or needs your platform password.

Brand voice without installing anything

If you would rather not install a connector, download your voice as a Claude Skill from Settings → Connections and drop the folder into Claude. It is a snapshot rather than a live link, so re-download it after you change your voice.

Revoking access

Every connector and key is listed under Settings → Connections, with when it was last used. Revoking takes effect within a minute. Deleting your Growpost account revokes everything immediately.
